Tis The Season

Last week has been one of the busiest weeks ever! I had a stamp club, two Christmas card workshops, a talk to give to a military spouse support group, and my husbands command Christmas party! Phew! But I survived and everything went well. The most stressful was the military spouse talk. I had no clue what I was going to speak on, but I did it and everyone said I did well. Thank the Lord, because public speaking is not my forte. I always blab on and spider web, get emotional (depending on what it is), or involuntarily blurt out something embarrassing. hehehe.

Here are a few Christmas cards that we did this past week. There are just so many choices when it comes to creativity, especially when it's Christmas cards.

Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, and Chocolate Chip, Snow Much Fun stamp set.

Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Crumb cake, and Gold, Come to Bethlehem set

Crumb cake, Wisteria Wonder, Very Vanilla, Comfort and Joy set, musical notes, sanded (retired)

Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder, Crumb cake, Come to Bethlehem set

Thank You Card

With each order that I return to my customers, I like to make a thank you card. Instead of writing on the inside, I insert a paper just saying I appreciate their business. That way they have an extra card to use for someone else. I have been wanting to try the clear block technique and I finally had my chance. This card was so easy it literally only took me 4 minutes.

BLOGGER WIGGIN OUT!

Okay, I have no idea what is going on with my blog. When I'm logged in, one minute I see my followers and the next they're not there. I know some have said they have not been able to follow because the follow button was not there, but I do have followers. I'm so confused, and it does not help that I'm not blog savvy:( When I view my own site, not logged in, I don't see any of my followers, either. HELP! Does anyone know what is going on?

Happy Veterans Day!

I was taught at a young age the sacrifice of defending our beautiful nation by those who served in my family, my grandfathers, my dad, my uncles and now my husband. Our freedom is not free, it comes at a great cost-lives, family time, relationships, physical, mental, and emotional toll on our servicemen, not to mention the families. Not everyone can make the cut, it takes a special person. We are so blessed to live in this country because it holds a special place in God's heart. He has blessed us richly in many ways. To all my friends, family, and husband whom I admire and love so much, THANK YOU! You all make me so very proud:)

I made several cards for my family and my friends to let them know how special they are and how thankful I am for their sacrifices. Here are my two favorite.

I wanted to hurry and post pictures, but will return to put up the supply list soon. I'm just being a couch potato right now and am not wanting to find my catalogue:) But I will tell you that I used my cricut for the star and the heart.
